Hey all,
Been having this idea for a while now, don't know if it'll be any fun. I was thinking of making a series of youtube videos of matches from a players perspective. Was wondering if anyone would be interested in watching (and making if you're up for it) some of them? Basically I'd be recording what I see as I play, and what I say aswell which would basically end up as a commentary. Basically what I remember Bobby used to do every now and again when he was commentating a treet game and his team were playing. This would be in the new year ofc unless there are a few scrims between now and then.
Oh yeah, so far the only recording software I've gotten to work is SMRecorder, and when I do record, the screen comes out a little bit colour distorted, anyone got any recommendations for some decent free software? Otherwise I may have to dip into my shrinking wallet and just get fraps lol

I have had bad experiances with Fraps, large file size and jerky video :/. Maybe it is just my setup. Microsoft expression is a free screen capture that also has limited editing abilities. Of course, being Microsoft, you are stuck with .wmv in the free version only. Takes a bit of fine tuning to get what you want out if it though. The game videos I recorded months ago that are posted in a link here on the site where recorded with Microsoft expression. (Note its still of a lower quality, due to length of the videos and uploading restrictions I had to sacrifice on quality). |

Fraps records video uncompressed thus the 1minute of video = 100mb of data assuming your recording in 720p (Treet's Standard) Though what you are refering to I didn't film the games I played in unless your talking about the one video of me in a scrim with Nic and Sirk

That was back in season 8 when I first got setup to do video recording and stuff
But when we were filming with Treet I just was on the audio call talking while I was playing. |
