Ok everyone I got the ball rolling on the schedule (the first couple weeks are in) with some questions for those of you coaching and in charge of this. Ultimately the schedule and other details need to be coach and draft manager decisions

1. What do you think of the schedule? It's Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The weekend times will have to be adjusted once N.A. and Euro start, but the first two weeks, Saturdays are pretty open. Will this work ok?

Also, do you want me to be the one going ahead and entering the schedule for the 5 week season? If not, who would like to take over that?

If you like this schedule let me know and I can finish the 5 week schedule.

2. Are we still going with the 5 week farm season?

The alteration here was that it's going to overlap start of Season 5, but no one wanted to wait 5 weeks to start the next season.

3. Who will be scheduling refs for the farm division? Who is in charge of them? (Patrice is resuming her previous role as Ref Manager in Season 5 for scheduling for the regular divisions. No idea what the plan is for farm)

4. Are Nic and Marjan going to be utilized as coaches?

Again I don't mind staying on with Naida for the Crocs if needed. We didn't know how many, if any would be volunteering so I said aye. But it would probably be better if one or both of those guys want to take it on just due to the other league responsibilities. I plan on still being around to assist with any teams in case coaches can't make it, or reffing or anything as needed. I can be the "person on call" hehehe

5. How often are we doing the rookie drafts into the regular teams? Every two weeks was discussed. Should we set a regular day every 2 weeks for this and put it on the schedule? It could just be done on the forums rather than trying to arrange an in-world meeting but that's up to the coaches and the NA and Euro captains.

6. What is the criteria for who goes to draft? I'm assuming the coaches recommend who is ready and willing to go to regular division.

Also who will be in charge of organizing those drafts and the communication with captains?

Also will we use the rotating 1-6 for which team goes first each draft time?

Bobby, King, Fury, and Merrik have largely been in charge of this. Along with the coaches, please let me know what I can further do to help. Or what needs to be changed in the schedule. I "guessed" on the times and it's completely changeable.

Sure, a generated one would be cool, I guess depending on how coaches want to do it. Bobby had mentioned 5 weeks some time back, and whatever you guys have discussed in the meantime

Yes the NA division is still playing Thursdays, the 7:30 SLCN. (I realized the NA has to give up Mondays so that resulted in some monkeying around with schedule.)

Do you mean 4 games total, not 4 matchups? Right now I got it at teams playing each other 3 days/week (so 6 matchups) Is this too much?

Yeah I agree we need to keep a Thursday night SLCN game if its possible.

I'll take Marjan to help coach with me if he wants to or nobody else wants him... Poor lion evil Flamers.

1.The Schedule seems fine from here.

2.Fury's 3 week plan could work.

3.Are we training the farm Players to be Refs? Should we utilize the regular Ref Corp until we get these players trained?

4.We could use Nic or Marjan as a coach.

5.I think every 2 weeks would be fine.Have it on a set date.Yes it would be easier to do on the forum.Suggestion have draft on Wednesdays and players drafted are not allowed to play until the following Tuesday games, but can practice and attend team meetings. So we agreed no drafts after 22 games.

6.I think its up to the coaches if declare players ready.Criteria would be do the understand the rules, know the fundamentals of the game and they can play in a game at the SLH level.

I can help out with the drafts if need be.Captains will have to make it their priority to come watch and make themselves aware of draft days.A forum post and a weekly group notice should help keep the captains informed.

Draft rotation is the best and the fairest way to go. Ice Lord 1st pick in 1st Farm Draft.Moose 1st pick in 2nd Farm Draft and Ice Lords pick 6th is 2nd Farm Draft.Etc....

Times seem ok.

RE: SLCN

Thursday night 7:30 is the slot SLCN has reserved fror SLH. Whatever matchups you want in there are ok.

Please let us know ahead of time if a Farm league game is slated, since the tech crew will have to load in new graphics.

How about this since we got a few more volunteers for coach, Marjan for Eagles, Nic for Admirals, and Fall for Crocs?

Well, I wasn't really aiming to be a full on coach of a team. I was thinking more along the lines of reffing and maybe assisting a team or something.
