Since Lion or Bear arent around this afternoon...i took the liberty as captian to add all the new rookies on the roster to our group... I already got word form Cwis as he will be playing D. I do have some questions though... can/should some of the past farm players join the game? I myself wanna be on the ice and playing O for fun but also to help guide the players.... Allan wants to play goalie.... Milenah wants to Play both O and G...but because she's already an offenseman...that may be an issue. what do u think? |

great Merrik thanks!! The more help the better. We're not sure yet what's going to happen with farm. Depending on summer turnout, we may go down to two teams. Right now I'm planning on the games as scheduled and we'll see what kind of turnout we get. People who are already playing in the NA division are encouraged to come, so you can see the talents and help out and even play, though players must play in a position to which they are not accustomed. We want the rookies to get as much puck time as possible, so it's important not to have any power forwards or experienced goalies etc taking up slots that the rookies need the practice in.
I also posted a list that, to my knowledge, reflects who's interested right now (see league management) and any further info on those folks is very welcome.
We'll play it by ear tonight. We may wind up just having one game if not enough folks show. The response to emails has been tepid hehe
Also players will be looked at for the immediate placement on the other teams today and this week. (they can also continue to play in farm) |

We had a pretty decent turnout although at first it was sketchy so we went with two teams playing 1 game and just kinda combined everyone. The folks there still want to try to go with 4 teams and we can keep it open this week, definitely and see how turnout is. Farm coaches are encouraged to contact their list of players and remind them of games and try to maximize turnout. |
