We in Buffalo want to keep the 20-30% of Canadian fans who attend our games so that we too can keep our team in Buffalo. Please stay in the desert where hockey belongs... |

Screw the desert :P, Winnipeg, Regina, or Quebec City could support them. I say they bring them up north, Bettman is eager to get teams out of Canada, but he's such an ass on letting one back in. |

The Coyotes ain't going anywhere. They just moved into a new arena recently and if someone wants to move the team to Hamilton it will cost way more 200 million. Glendale, AZ will get their five pounds of flesh outta what's his name if he prevails in court. Me, I could use some extra looneys in my pockets since my tax dollars helped pay for Jobbed.com Arena.
But all sides of this dispute have some compelling arguments, it will be interesting to see how this pans out. |

phoenix cant support an nhl team... even the grey one on the bench cant turn that team around the problem is the city has invested to much to lose the team even though they should. the team stays because of sympathy when everyone in the nhl knows they should not of gone to phoenix in the first place |

I never believed the black berry guy would win it, just because as Mango pointed out, he would have gotten chewed out by Glendale. But theres also other legality's involving Buffalo, Toronto and possibly Ottawa. I would love to see the team come up north to a city other then Hamilton if the team can't be supported down in Phoenix, but it would take a lot of work and a lot of cash. Not some half baked attempt to force a move through the court. I admire Balsailles ( I know I spelled that wrong lol) determination, but he is severely killing his chances of ever owning a NHL team with the way he is handling things. If the Coyotes ever move before the lease is up, I would think the team would be subject to either a huge fee or some sort of profit/income sharing to cover the investment by Glendale, Arenas aren't cheap. |
