Since there was no corresponding goal scored, no assist was registered in the game stats for Ruff. My understanding is that if there was no corresponding goal, an assist given in error does not register in the stats. The stats site seems to bear this out (no assists in the game for Ruff), so no adjustments in stats are needed. (???)

That's correct. Assists go to the last good goal for that team. If there are no goal@ scored, or the goal already has two assists, the monkeys eat it  |
