who's up for a little NHL season long contest?
This was a contest i used to do at a trading card site but heck why cant we play it here too? The Contest is simple. Ever week (around monday or so) i will post Satuday night's scehdule... what u have to do is pick the winners, scores, and scorers. Simple. U will be rewarded pts for correct guesses! the person come playoff time with the most points wins.
If u wish to donate prizes to the contest that would be wonderful too. Im already considering offering a $500L GC to my store to the winner and other prizes to the2nd and 3rd place.
Contest runs like this:

Montreal Goals: Spacek, Gomez(2), Cammalleri

Final:

Score: 3-2
Montreal Goals: Gomez, Cammalleri
Buffalo Goals: Vanek, Stafford, Roy
Points are based on the following:
Correct team win: 1pt
Correct score for A team: 1pt
Correct goal scorers: 1pts
BONUS
If you guess both scores correctly you get an additional 3pts
If you guess all the correct goal scorers for a team you get an additional 3pts
if you correctly predict a shutout for a team...additional 5pts
If you manage to correctly guess EVERYTHING...additional 10pts (this was always rare).
