Why are so many born in the 60's taking the easy way out?

Is it media? the pressure? WHY? please help! born 64 and tired of seeing my 60's born people die this soon

As long as you arent addicted to cocaine half of your life, and alcohol, and various other drugs you should be fine

I can't even imagine what living that kind of life under the constant media spotlight, combined with an unhealthy relationship and apparently an addictive personality would lead one to. I guess that being an elite entertainer really takes a toll judging from the numbers of stars who've ended up in similar circumstances.

It's truly tragic to see someone with so much talent fall into the spiral of self-destructive behavior.

I also don't think it's just a '60s issue either Kert; Amy Winehouse and Heath Ledger are prime examples. I think it's more a certain personality type combined with wealth, easy access to all sorts of dangerous substances, and hangers on who will cover up or facilitate destructive behavior.

Yeah basically what Deej said... I also believe enablers play a huge part in it as well.
