Well, I was on Operation Sports when I heard that SecondLife had something like hockey, so it piqued my interest. I am a huge fan of hockey, and love to play them (real life and game) so I was wondering how does this work? Does it work like NHL games where you play locked in as one person and move around? I wish to play as Goalie or Defensemen, but I have not touched them either so I do not know how they work. |

Welcome to GOHA! =D
Our league functions more or less like the NHL, we have seasonal play where you play as yourself as part of a team. You're always welcome to check out our rinks (Brooks Arena on Blueliner and Cleary Arena on Empty Net...Jericho Hill is still undergoing maintenance), and whenever there isn't a game scheduled, you can come practice and get used to the controls.
We will also have weekly practices for new players every Tuesday and Thursday at 5 PM, they'll be announced through the group in-world and put on the calendar on here. There will be one tomorrow at Cleary, so we'd be more the happy to help you out then. Hope to see you around! |

Thanks! I'll make sure to be there. I was also told that by going to the sessions is how you get placed onto a team etc. |

That's also true, the minimum requirements are 4 practice sessions and 2 scrims, and then we would talk with you about getting placed on a team. |
