Does anyone think we should plan this into the schedule now around Mid season? Or do we want it near the end of the season like last time?

I just think it would be good to plan ahead either way.

I prefer mid season personally...that way it doesn't feel like everything is happening at the same time.

there's my two cents worth

I dont know... I think the only true judgments can be made at the end of the season. Would Jato have been an all-star at mid season or even Wilton for that matter (furry invasion)? Probably not. Maybe we do it towards the end of the season, like before the regular season ends (last 3rd or so).

I agree with mid season I think during the time off in Dec-Jan. Allstar games in all sports are always played during mid season and for every guy you can name that wouldnt have been you can name or find 1 that would have been. To hold the game to the end of the season cause jato wouldnt have made it is pointless when he didnt play anyway.

Viv
Half the all stars were not present this time around. And the time off in dec is more so teams dont get burned with 2-3 games a week over the holidays. Who is to say that with 1 planned day 75% of the stars cant be there. I know we prob didnt have much more of a turn out then that this season i mean our team was missing Pat, August, Tim and Jato thats 4 out 12 so we had a 66% turn out if you think the end of the season changes that I dont see it.

Wait. Half the all-stars weren't present? But 66% of one team was? HUH??? Do the damn math, man, before you start throwing stats around. As I recall, only one person from the blue team couldn't be there and we knew about it ahead of time. We had so many show up that not everyone got equal time to play in the game (not a complaint just stating a fact!). I agree with Viv, leave it to the end of the season so that every person gets an equal chance to make it to the all-star team (re: Wilt and Jato).

Ok and still mid season doesnt mean over the break. it can be before we start back up. And Naida i didnt mention the blue team cause i didnt know so either read more and get your facts straight ( And I was not being exact on the numbers with the 50% just stating it was not the best turn out). Obviously if i knew what the turn out for the blue team was I would have mentioned it and I think there was more no shows cause I had made uniforms for people who were not supposed to be on the team but were because people knew before hand they were not able to play.

hey lets not turn this into a bitching session people

lets just take a vote, go with the majority and move on...there's more important things than "when the allstar game should be"

Like my current dilemma...who's hid the cookies!

Please do not use the forums for personal arguing sessions. Again I ask for persons who have problems with each other to follow the guideline to either directly address it with each other and work it out, or choose the silence option.
