Actually in this case we're probably not doomed (if we were getting Bobby Kotick or someone from Activision I might be worried).
This guys got experience with massive, successful online games like The Sims and Everquest so at the very least we know he's got the ability to get stuff done. Not to mention having a CEO with a good track record is better then no CEO at all. |

Actually only the offline The Sims series are successful. They tried a multiplayer experience with The Sims Online but it was a big failure and got closed. Dunno about Everquest, tho.
But maybe we aren't doomed, who knows. I just don't trust Electronic Arts or anyone who came from there, that's all. But you're right, it would be probably even worse if it was someone from Activision. Sometimes I don't know which one is more greedy. |
