Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to bring my avie back in to the league in mid-season? I am not sure how much I can be on but I'd like to try and get back into hockey.

Of course, San, welcome back.
"RETIRED PLAYERS: If a player wishes to officially retire, he or she must communicate this clearly on the forums or to their captains, who must then clearly post on the forums that the player is officially retired. Please use the phrase "Officially Retired" as there has been some issues of confusion over whether or not someone is just saying they will be missing some games or truly retired. When a player wishes to come back from retirement, he or she must inform the captain of their last team. The captain will then post on the forums, in Captains Communication area, that a person has said they are coming back. Returning players have two options: They can either go up for trade from their last team, if an agreeable trade can be worked out between the captains the player may start again at once. If they are returning to their same team they last played for, they must sit out 5 games starting the date they announced their return. This was put into place to avoid dodgy draft questions. There may be exceptions; at the captains meetings, we discuss returning players and sometimes agree, depending on the situation, to lessen the number of games they have to wait."
(BTW, everyone, we might nix that rule next season, if someone did obviously retire. We just couldn't this season because of, with the number of unretirees, some already had to adhere to the rule) |

If you remain with the IL, you are eligible to return on Sat Feb 14. If you would like a trade, Im sure something can be worked out. |
