A majority of us in the GOHA family take our league very seriously, and more importantly, the people that join the league. Everyone involved in this league is a volunteer, dedicating thier own time to all of you.

With that said, I'd like to ask everyone to respect the time and effort of those that are dedicating thier personal time to help the our new members.

Lately, a number of Alts have been coming in, pretending to not know how to play. While I personally dont care if people are using Alt avatars, I ask that you do not pretend to ask questions and pretend to learn how to use the equipment. Speaking from my own experience, I have had more than one person come through lately that is better at the script than I am within the first 5 minutes.

Alts... just play on. Please dont pretend and waste the time of our volunteers. It is extremely disrespectful and detrimental to the success of the league. Just tell us, "I dont need any help." It will save a lot of us a lot of time and effort.

To all of our volunteers... I thank you for your continued support and perseverance for these unfortunate occurrences. Your efforts are appreciated by all of us.

Im gonna have to speak up in this post because i have personally helped 2 people that I have later busted as alts. Helping new comers is something that is not too common around SL. I know personally it takes alot of time and effort to help out people who really need the extra help to get adjusted to playing in GOHA. Stop wasting our time by playing stupid and thinking your not gonna get caught. Every alt is caught in this league, its not hard to tell when your playing and suddenly score 6 goals in a farm game. Save yourself, and us the effort.

LMAO! "ALTS" errrr... nvrmind.

Just so happens one alt stops coming to the rink "for what ever reason!?" You "coughs" "ALTS" errr... nvrmind. You take on the same
characteristic's of your previous alt. In matter of seconds,You have become this new and interesting addition to the mix.Best yet!You take up "or try" to be friends with previous friends using the same exact traits as your previous alt.

Note to self. try and act a little different to keep them off track as long as i can. And! play kinda shitty for awhile,, yeah! now i think my next alt will never fail!

Personally I find Alts to be quite funny, I find it funny that they expect to get away with it. So many times now I've seen people come to the rink and just jump into a scrim and play better than most. They then ask no more questions but suddenly know when every scrim is, when the normal games are and alot of things most rookies have no clue about.

We all have reasons to make an alt, heck I've got about 3 alts but never log any of them anymore for personal reasons. But I always let people I want to know who I am. I don't pretend to be someone else, it's not a hard concept to understand.

Thanks for bringing up this sensitive subject. It is true as pointed out above there are valid reasons for having alts, however, you're very easy to spot. We also can identify alts in other ways besides personality and gameplay style (which are usually the big hints) The reason this matters is because if you're "retiring" or coming in to play on other teams it affects the league and just is not very fair to your own regular teammates or the team you're playing for as an alt. It's always been a sore subject cause it is difficult sometmes to prove but please understand its possible to prove and also a big waste of time for people. Thanks for your cooperation.
