I would like to give a shoutout for 3 players this week.
Fall Goalpost has been a league member for MANY seasons. First off she is never anything but a pleasant person to have around. Second, her skills on the ice continue to grow very noticeably through the seasons. She has patiently and methodically taught herself all 3 positions to the point she can MORE than adequately play all 3. I am glad to know Fall.
Dex Braveheart got a team dropped in his lap this season and took that potentially stressful situation and turned it around. The Wolves finished the season VERY strongly and I feel it was very much related to Dex's leadership and the way he helped the team find its groove and excellent teamwork.
Ger I would like to give notice to because of his marked improvement this season on the ice. Ger started out many seasons ago as GOHA's biggest fan, present to every game but finally got onto the ice a couple seasons ago. Season 8 saw some great advancements in his play, checking, and it was pretty impressive to me. WTG Ger on your perserverence and I enjoyed playing on the Whales with you this season. |
