As of 3:52PM SLT after our game, this game on the stats site has not registered. Still says it is in progress. On the site it says there is :01 in time left.
-----
A few minute later I checked and a scrim game had started and shows as the Game in Progress - score 0-0. The scrim game also shows in Game Summaries with a score of 10-10. Wolves won the game over the Bears 10-9. It looks like maybe our game and the scrim game is being combined in the stats.
In any case, it looks like fun to sort it out. |

Did notice that. Dyz might be doing something w site or SL-web communication slow. Hopefully will show up soon. What was the final? |
|
|
Also it looks like whoever set up this scrim did it as a North American game (the Caesar vs Brutus one) Whoopsie. That means it will come up on NA stats. |

I've been trying to make some fixes all morning, but could not update while games were in progress. These are now in place, but the scrim started while I was working.
This is now cleaned up. Thanks for your patience. |

The people in the Scrim after are still listed on the players rosters on the game results though.

Thanks, Cili. I've updated the rosters as well. Note: if anyone played in both games, thier stats will be skewed. |

This scrimmage was 4 days late.
Caesar and Brutus
Many senators began to fear Caesar's growing power following his appointment as dictator for life. Brutus was persuaded into joining the conspiracy against Caesar by the other senators.
The conspirators planned to carry out their plot on the Ides of March (March 15) that same year. When Caesar came to the Senate, they attacked him. Upon seeing Brutus was with the conspirators, Caesar covered his face with his toga and resigned himself to his fate. The conspirators attacked in such numbers that they even wounded one another.
After the assassination, the Senate passed an amnesty on the assassins. This amnesty was proposed by Caesar's friend and co-consul Marcus Antonius. Nonetheless, uproar among the population caused Brutus and the conspirators to leave Rome.
After Octavian received his consulship from the Roman Senate, one of his first actions was to have the people that had assassinated Julius Caesar declared murderers and enemies of the state. The two sides met in two engagements known as the Battle of Philippi. The first was fought on October 3, 42 BC, in which Brutus defeated Octavian's forces, although Cassius was defeated by Antonius' forces. The second engagement was fought on October 23, 42 BC and ended in Brutus' defeat.
After the defeat, he fled into the nearby hills with only about four legions. Knowing his army had been defeated and that he would be captured, Brutus committed suicide. |

History is cool.
Octavian FTW !! |

Just curious but how did all the Wolves end up with (-) and the Bears end up with (+) on the stats if the Wolves won the game? |

I'd might agree with you there, but the penalty times arent matching up with the goal times or maybe I'm miss calculating. |
|
|
We changed lines at end of first period when we were behind so a lot of Polar Bears will have + scores as we were on the ice while we caught up from an early defecit.

Well, how I'm viewing it, is like this....there were only two penalties in which a goal was scored, so that would negate two goals from the final score in regards to the plus/minus. The score would read 8-7 in that event...I know Beavis played the whole game, except for 1 penalty he incurred (in which a goal wasnt scored). That should mean he would end up with a plus/minus of +1? Sorry if I'm missing something here.
Perhaps it all had something to do with the scrimmage that was played though? |
|
|
lol yeah...I hear ya Abu...thanks |
|
|
yay for penalties |
|
|
The issue with the scrim starting as a part of this game overwrote +/- for a portion of the game. Unfortunate, but out of our control.
Plus/Minus is the single most complicated calculation within the script. Even when backfilling data, I am not able to manage +/- manually. |
|
|
No worries Dyz...I know the league as a whole does a fantastic job running things and I'm not a brainchild whe it comes to scripting, that's why I show you my gratitude in another way Keep up the good work! |
