| I just wanted to give a special shout-out to these people who have been part of the rookie and farm drive and have been instrumental in finding, training and guiding our very successful farm teams. The time and effort you've put forth has allowed the league to continue to grow and we all thank you! |

I am honored to be apart of this great hockey league known as SLHA. we all know that in order for the league to continue, we must bring in not only new faces, but GOOD players. With the current program, this gives every rookie a chance to learn the game and become a very well rounded player.
The advantage SLHA has over everyone else is there is hardly a time where you can't find someone at the rink to help a new comer. There is always someone to help sign new players up and show then the ropes of the game. So for that, I thank you for the opportunity to help out  |

Oh wait....anyway...:P
Its not always easy teaching new folks, especialy those brand new to SL as well. It takes a fair amount of patience. But it is rather rewarding to watch somone catch on to our little addiction, and to see the steady improvement and enjoyment of the game.
I think I can say for all off us that it is our pleasure and honor to give a little back to the League which has given us so much. |

And I agree, we might not be paid, but our salary is to see new players enjoying the league and eventually becoming its future.
I work with great people and I don't think any of us consider this as a job, we're all hockey fans and are enjoying ourselves allowing other people to play it, or even to learn what it is. |
