Hello all,
I just wanted to take this opportunity to recognize Marjan Tomba and the Whales for their sporting gesture in today's game vs. the Wolves. One of our players honestly forgot to remove a bling attachment before play started. But we all know the rules are the rules, and an infraction like this carries a five minute major penalty.
But in great spirit and sportsmanship, Marjan asked to remove the penalty from the record, with no open disagreements from his team. And they did this in a very entertaining, tightly contested game!
So thanks Whales, much appreciation and respect. And good luck in the playoffs. Hope you ladies and gents do well. |

| Agreed!!! And I think Liesa Ember especially should be publically named as it was her idea to ask for the suspension of the penalty. (Stuff like this makes me proud of us all) |

Surely we already knew SLHA didn't EXACTLY mirror NHL or any other form of hockey exactly... but who knew that declining penalties, an NFL concept, would make its way to the SLHA?  |

You'd think I would know better by now! I spent the weekend sorting out my inventory and still havent made a replace all hockey folder.. rest assured I am on to it now... Thanks again guys was truly a fun game and I am definitely digging the new script! |
